Good news, everyone!

In order to ensnare the entire nation in our brand of fears and scares, we’ll be reaching our slimy tentacles out to new places we’ve never been before! We’re pleased to announce that FrightProps will now be appearing at additional shows around the country. While we always make sure to appear at the famous TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions show in St. Louis and the Midwest Haunters Convention in Columbus, we’re going to be at four additional shows this year!

Before we announce them, please note: our crazy CASH & CARRY BOOTH will only be available at TransWorld in St. Louis and at the Midwest Haunter’s Convention in Columbus. Catch us at the other shows for exclusive coupons, savings, and deals unique to each show!

National Haunters Convention

National Haunters Convention (Oaks, PA – May 2-4)

Located in the greater Philadelphia area, the National Haunters Convention has a sold-out vendor floor and also provides dozens of in-depth classes about nearly everything you need to know about operating a haunted house. Topics range from stilt-walking, designing haunted houses, storytelling, Halloween fundraising for non-profits, costuming, foam carving….you name it and there’s probably a class on it. The National Haunters Convention also features a Miss Halloween beauty pageant, a fashion show, make-up war, and a costume ball that runs into the late hours of the evening.

HauntX

HauntX (Reno, NV – May 9-11)

With a number of their educational classes and workshops included in their admission fee, HauntX provides a showroom along with plenty of entertainment in the form of paranormal tours, a movie night, masquerade ball, and a vampire themed pub crawl. If I’m not mistaken, they even have an intriguing portion of the show titled “wind down pizza and beer movie night” – hard to go wrong with solid ideas like that.

West Coast Haunters (Portland, OR – May 16-18)

Our friends to the west are now in their fifth year of bringing together scare-freaks from all walks of life. With keynote speakers like Roy Wooley, RJ Haddy, Nicholas “Nix” Herrera (all from SYFY’s “Face Off”) and Jessie Langers (of SYFY’s “Heroes of Cosplay”), West Coast Haunters Convention is an established authority on the world of Halloween and haunting. We’re also proud to mention that the WCHC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that gives out grants to people that work with children with autism and/or hearing impairments.

midwest haunters

Midwest Haunters (Columbus, OH – June 6-8)

Midwest Haunters Convention features a 75000 sq ft vendor trade show floor, making it one of the biggest and baddest haunt events of the year. The Columbus, Ohio based convention is known for holding the Bloody Mary Monster Make Up Wars each year – an event pitting teams of talented artists against each other right in the middle of the convention! Lastly, there’s the killer pre-convention bus tour which usher you from Columbus to some of outstanding haunts – The Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory, The Factory Of Terror, and the Bloodview Haunted House.

Although the location for HAuNTcon hasn’t been announced for 2015, you can be sure that we’re going after hearing about how great the show went in Houston this year. Keep your eyes glued to the FrightProps blog as we’ll announce more information as we get it.

So make sure if you’re at the show or even nearby that you drop by and see us. We’d love to put a name to a face for any one of our loyal customers or even get the chance to meet someone new. As we all know in this world of weirdos, we need all the friends we can get!
